NoPo Shooting Epidemic? You weigh in.

I can't help but notice a trend in the news lately with North Portland and incidents in gun violence. So, is it simply the news sensationalizing shootings that happen to be in NoPo, or has there been an increase in shootings in our community over the last few years? What do you think? Weigh in by posting your comments below.

NoPo makes the national news

Not that we like this kind of attention, but the news about the 'criminal caught in the chimney' made it all the way onto MSNBC's Countdown with Keith Olberman yesterday.

If you haven't heard the story yet, it's fairly amusing. The suspect attempted to break in to a NoPo man's home yesterday morning in a Santa-entrance fashion.

You can check out the details and news helicopter footage here.
